Coast road to Redcar. Corus (ex. British Steel) on horizon
Approaching Redcar and the beach on the right.
Redcar. End of the coast road.
Destination! Redcar High Street.
And back home. Saltburn Lane railway bridge.

Cycle ride from Skelton (Cleveland) to Middlesbrough
BIKE - Giant "Boulder" mountain bike
Date - 6th July 2010 (morning)
Distance to Middlesbrough- 16 miles

Footpath to Skelton Green
The village of Charltons on the A171 - Middlesbrough to Whitby moors road.
Path of the old railway - now the Guisborough branch walkway
Have to cross the Middlesbrough - Whitby railway line here
Not a right of way and have to lift the bike over the fence
Hope the farmer is not about. "Get orff moi laaand!"
Destination, Kashmiri Foods, Middlesbrough. Stock up on Indian spices.
And samosas for lunch!
